Beginning as a marine painter, Bill Borough then focused on the homes of Key West as subject matter.
He works in both a realistic and conceptual manner that stimulates the power of forming ideas. He does not reveal everything .
This approach lets the beholder become more perceptive in viewing the work and allows the inherent transparency of his watercolors to remain fresh. Bill also painted in oil and acrylic but will be known for his watercolors. Bill's paintings have been seen in major Southeast Florida art festivals.
He has been affiliated with the International Marine Painters Society, The Gold Coast Watercolor Society, and the Palm Beach Watercolor Society.
